PAF Pre Cast

Description:
PAF Pre Cast is an acrylic–based finish coat that replicates the appearance of Limestone; allowing designers and building owners to add a unique finishing touch of textured colors to interior and exterior walls. PAF Precast is offered premixed in a variety of standard and custom colors.

Packaging:
PAF Pre Cast is packaged is packaged in a 65 Lb (29.5 Kgs) pail.

Benefits and Use:
PAF Pre Cast is an extremely durable DPR architectural acrylic finish, which could be used in a variety of interior and exterior systems. Although PAF Pre Cast is recommended over Western 1-Kote exterior stucco systems previously prepared with BPS Super Fine Skim Coat, it can also be applied over properly prepared substrates such as masonry, concrete and other approved stucco systems.

Coverage:
PAF Pre Cast covers approximate 130 sq.ft. when applied at (1/8”) one-eighth of an inch.

Preparation:

PAF Pre Cast must be applied over dry, clean smooth skim coated surfaces, free of dust and imperfections. Skim Coats receiving PAF Pre Cast shall be completely cured for a minimum of 24 hours prior to application of PAF Pre Cast. If applied over concrete surfaces, concrete must be cured for a minimum of 28 days prior to application of PAF Pre Cast. All receiving substrates shall be coated with PAF Primer prior to PAF Precast applications.

Mixing:
PAF Pre Cast shall be mixed to a homogenous consistency with a mixing blade powered by a 450-500 rpm drill. A small amount of water may be added to adjust workability.

Application:  
PAF Pre Cast is applied in a two coat process. Apply the first coat of PAF Pre Cast using a standard steel trowel, to a uniform compacted thickness and allow coat to be dry to the touch. Apply the second coat in similar fashion of the first coat and float the coat using a plastic trowel. Once the coat has taken up, float again to desired texture using a steel or plastic trowel.

Curing:

PAF Pre Cast drying is upon environment conditions. Under average conditions (70°F) PAF Precast will dry in 24 hours.  Lower temperature conditions require PAF Pre Cast to be covered or protected for longer periods.

Limitations:
Surface temperatures shall not be below 50°F (10°C). Environment temperature must be between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C) for PAF Pre Cast applications. Do not use PAF Precast on exposed exterior horizontal surfaces.

Storage:
PAF Pre cast should be stored in sealed containers avoiding sunlight and in temperatures above 40°F (4°C).

Warranty:
Manufacturers or Western Blended Products (WBP) warrants its products to be of merchantable quality and suitable for the general purpose for which they were intended, when applied in accordance with WBP instructions.  Manufacturers of WBP do not warrant its products to be suitable for any purpose or use other than for which they were intended.  Liability under this warranty is limited to supplying new material without charge, or at manufacturers of WBP option, to a refund of the purchase price.  In the event of a claim under this warranty, written notice must be given to the originating plant of the WBP goods at the address shown hereon.  This limited warranty is issued and accepted in lieu of all other expressed warranties, and expressly excludes liability for consequential damages.  Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
