Description:
Top Gun Premium Plaster Sanded is a factory blended modified portland cement exterior plaster designed for conventional scratch and brown stucco systems. The product contains pre-blended ASTM rated sand and requires only the addition of potable water at the jobsite.

Top Gun Premium Plaster Sanded features a controlled factory blend providing improved consistency and more predictable performance compared to field-blended plastic cement mixes. The product is available in fibered and unfibered formulations.

Product Uses:
Top Gun Premium Plaster Sanded is intended for use as:

A scratch and/or brown coat in conventional stucco systems.

Coverage:

Approximately 24.8 square feet, 2.75 square yards, and 2.3 square meters @ 3/8" thickness.

Approximately 12.4 square feet, 1.38 square yards, and 1.15 square meters @ 3/4" thickness.
Coverage may vary depending on substrate condition, application method and waste.

Mixing:
Top Gun Premium Plaster Sanded requires the addition of approximately 1.5 to 2 gallons of potable water per bag, depending on desired workability and application method.
Each bag shall mix for a minimum of five (5) minutes to achieve uniform consistency.
Mix proportions shall comply with ASTM C926 requirements.

Application:
Top Gun Premium Plaster Sanded is applied by approved applicators. The material may be applied by hand or plaster pump. The Hi-Flow formulation is suitable for conventional plaster pump equipment.
Typical installation consists of a scratch coat followed by a brown coat to achieve a nominal total thickness of 3/4".
The scratch and double-back method may be used in accordance with IBC Section 2512.8 (Alternate Method of Application).
Total plaster thickness shall not exceed 7/8" in accordance with conventional stucco code requirements.
Application shall comply with ASTM C926 and ASTM C1063.
Curing:
The product requires a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours moist curing. Environmental conditions such as heat, wind and low humidity will require additional curing.

Finishing:
A variety of finishes such as Western Exterior Stucco, standard acrylic paint and Premium Acrylic Finish (PAF) may be applied over Top Gun Premium Plaster Sanded. The recommendations of the finish coat manufacturer shall be followed regarding base coat preparation, bonding, application and curing of their product.

Limitations:
Do not apply when surface or ambient temperatures are at or below 40°F / 4.4°C or above 100°F / 38°C. Do not apply to surfaces that are contaminated with bond breakers, oils or other matter that may affect the performance of the product. Do not apply if conditions are expected to be above or below the specified temperature range within 24 hours of application. Do not add additional ingredients without specific written approval from an authorized manufacturer of Western Blended Products.
Storage:
Top Gun Premium Plaster Sanded shall be kept indoors or if stored outdoors, shall be adequately covered to keep dry and be stored off the ground.

Specifications for this product are based on optimal environmental conditions (70°F ambient temperature with 50% humidity) for preparation, mixing, application and curing. Specification parameters may vary as environmental conditions change. Consult the product’s Safety Data Sheet or GHS Section located on the product package for hazard identification and first aid measures. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Western Blended Products (WBP) warrants that its products are of merchantable quality and suitable for the general purpose for which they are intended when applied in accordance with WBP instructions. The manufacturers of WBP products do not warrant the products to be suitable for any purpose or use other than that for which they are intended. Liability under this warranty is limited to supplying new material without charge or, at the option of the manufacturer of the WBP product, refunding the purchase price. In the event of a claim under this warranty, written notice must be provided to the originating plant of the WBP product at the address shown herein. This limited warranty is issued and accepted in lieu of all other express warranties and expressly excludes liability for consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts; therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply.
