Vera Stone is a blend of naturally occurring aggregates including mica, varying in color, shape, and size. Each particular blend resembles natural stone-like granite finishes. This homogenous mixture may be applied by hand trowel; it may be used to decorate interiors and other home accents such as arches, columns, and even barbeques. After a short drying time, Vera Stone provides a dramatic appearance, all while delivering long-lasting durability. Much like the rock it imitates, Vera Stone provides a classic look for interior and exterior surfaces.

PAF Vera Stone is packaged is packaged in a 60 Lb (27.21 Kgs) pail.

Benefits and Use:
PAF Vera Stone is pre-mixed and ready to apply. PAF Nova Stone has excellent color retention and is also an extremely durable DPR architectural acrylic finish, which could be used in a variety of interior and exterior systems. Although PAF Vera Stone is recommended over Western 1-Kote exterior stucco systems previously prepared with BPS Super Fine Skim Coat, it can also be applied over properly prepared substrates such as masonry, concrete and other approved stucco systems.

PAF Vera Stone covers approximately 95 sq. ft. when applied at (1/8”) one-eighth of an inch.

PAF Vera Stone must be applied over dry, clean surfaces, free of dust and imperfections. Basecoats receiving PAF Vera Stone shall be completely cured for a minimum of 24 hours prior to application of PAF Vera Stone. If applied over concrete surfaces, concrete must be cured for a minimum of 28 days prior to application of PAF Vera Stone. All receiving substrates shall be coated with PAF Primer prior to PAF Vera Stone applications. PAF Primer must be dry before PAF Vera Stone is applied.

PAF Vera Stone shall be mixed for 1 minute with a mixing blade powered by a 450-500 rpm drill, prior to application of the material. Do not overmix. A small amount of water may be added to adjust workability. Do not add more than 6 oz of water per pail.

PAF Vera Stone is applied in a single coat process. Apply an even-thin coat using a steel towel, not exceeding 1/8” in thickness. After the coat is applied, lightly float the surface with a plastic trowel. A float may be used to bring out the aggregate to the surface. Float lightly over the finished surface, cleaning the float several times in the process.

PAF Vera Stone drying is upon environmental conditions. Under average conditions (70°F) PAF Vera Stone will dry in 48 hours.  Lower temperature conditions require PAF Vera Stone to be covered or protected for longer periods.

Surface temperatures shall not be below 50°F (10°C). Environment temperature must be between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C) for PAF Vera Stone applications. Do not use PAF Vera Stone on exposed exterior horizontal surfaces. Do not apply PAF Vera Stone on surfaces that will receive sealant.

PAF Vera Stone should be stored in sealed containers avoiding sunlight and in temperatures above 40°F (4°C).
