Use For.png

Description:
Whitecap Contractor Strength is a poly vinyl acetate bonding agent used for adhesion between portland cement surfaces.  Use of Whitecap Bonding Agent is appropriate for new or existing concrete, stucco and masonry construction. Whitecap Contractor Strength may be used over suitable previously painted cement surfaces.

Packaging:
The product is available in 1 gallon / 3.8 liter and 5 gallon / 18.9 liter.

Benefits:

  • Whitecap Contractor Strength is nontoxic, nonflammable, and freeze / thaw stable.

  • Ready & easy to apply.

  • It cleans up easily.

Coverage:
Rolled on surfaces as an adhesive Whitecap Contractor Strength will cover approximately 300 square feet per gallon.

Mixing:
Do not dilute with water or any other agent. Whitecap Bonding Agent is ready to apply after a quick shake-up.

Application / Surface Bonding Agent:
The porosity of the surface will affect the coverage. Roll on Whitecap Bonding Agent over existing concrete, stucco or masonry surfaces prior to applying a new basecoat or skim coat. Apply the new coat of concrete, masonry mortar or stucco when Whitecap Contractor Strength is tacky to the touch. Avoid new applications over a Whitecap Bonding agent coat that has already dried. Reapply Whitecap Bonding Agent to areas that have dried. Weather conditions may cause drying at a more rapid rate, requiring faster application of concrete, masonry mortar or stucco.

Limitations:
Do not add accelerator, air entrainment or other admixtures. Do not apply when surface or ambient temperatures are at or below 40°F / 4.4°C or above 100°F / 34°C. Do not apply to surfaces that are contaminated with bond breakers, oils or other matter that may affect the performance of the product. Previously painted surfaces must be power-washed and free of debris which may affect the adhesion of the coating. Do not apply if conditions are expected to be above or below the specified temperature range within 24 hours of application. Do not add additional ingredients without specific written approval from an authorized manufacturer of Western Blended Products. Product will freeze at temperatures below 32°F / 0°C.  In case of freezing, let thaw slowly at room temperature for several days.

Storage:
Product shall be kept indoors preferably. If stored outdoors, it shall be adequately covered to keep dry and must be stored off the ground.
